Introduction

I am writing this blog to inform my peers of the risks associated with opioid misuse. I believe people underestimate their addictive qualities and pernicious potential.

My blog will provide a different perspective than what you may have seen from other sources, primarily due to my age. My intention is not to promote organizations or my own opinions, but to educate myself and others through research. I am not only increasing awareness for opioid misuse; I am chronicling my path to a career in anesthesiology. Therefore, this blog should be of interest to anyone who desires to improve upon pain management solutions or who is on a similar college track.
